Living for new places with food.
Agora foi a vez do Nicolau o namorado da Amélia. Após momentos bem passados no espaço feminino, decidimos ir experimentar o espaço masculino na Rua de S. Nicolau em Lisboa.
Now it was Nicolau’s, Amelia’s boyfriend, turn. After well spent moments in the feminine space, we decided to go and experience the masculine space in S. Nicolau street in Lisbon.
O que dizer…. A comida é ótima e em menor quantidade do que na Amélia, o que não é necessariamente negativo visto que me empanturrei. Ambos os espaços têm um movimento enorme mas o Nicolau tem maior, pela sua localização. Em contrapartida, o atendimento foi bem mais rápido mas, devido à localização senti-me como obrigada a comer mais depressa para não diminuir a rotação esperada do espaço.
What can I say …. The food is great and in lesser quantity than in Amelia, which is not necessarily negative since I really full. Both spaces have a huge movement but the Nicolau has bigger, because of its location. On the other hand, the service was much faster but I felt obliged to eat faster to not reduce the expected rotation of the space.
Quanto ao ambiente, continua a ser um lugar com ótima decoração e bom gosto, mas o Nicolau é bem mais pequeno. Assim, tenho a dizer que se queres tomar um café rápido na baixa, o Nicolau é o local para ti mas, se queres saborear um Brunch delicioso entre conversas de amigas terá de ser no Amélia. O inegável é que estes dois formam um lindo par!
As for the environment, it remains a place with great decoration and good taste, but Nicolau is much smaller. So, I have to say that if you want to have a quick coffee downtown, Nicolau is the place for you, but if you want to enjoy a delicious Brunch between conversations and friends you have to go to Amelia. The undeniable thing is that these two make a beautiful couple!
